Il nuovo complesso scolastico è interpretato non solo come un luogo dove si insegna, ma come un ambiente dove si incita il desiderio per l’apprendimento in uno stimolante scenario per la socializzazione.
La struttura compositiva architettonica raggruppa in un nucleo tre aule (l’unità pedagogica istituzionale) con un proprio spazio collettivo – i nodi di connessione tra i singoli nuclei – superando così il consueto sistema distributivo lineare (con l’eliminazione dei corridoi). Questi spazi collettivi si configurano come delle piazze con un “corso” che le unisce in un sistema distributivo, nel cui baricentro si trovano gli ambienti con le funzioni comuni (l’ingresso, l’amministrazione, la mensa, il corpo servizi e il collegamento principale tra i livelli).
Nel tratto verso il futuro parco il progetto prevede, sotto una copertura “ondulata”, uno spazio adibito a mensa e una palestra, non solo in dotazione dalla scuola ma anche al servizio della città.
The new school complex is interpreted not only as a place where you teach, but as an environment that encourages a desire for learning in a stimulating setting for socialization.
The architectural structure comprises three classrooms (the institutional pedagogical units) in a core, with its own collective space – the connecting nodes between the individual cores – thus overcoming the usual linear distribution system (with the elimination of the corridors). These spaces are configured as squares with a “main street” that combines them into a distributive system, in whose center are the rooms with the common functions (the entrance, the administration office, the canteen, the bathrooms, and the main connections between levels).
In the distance towards the park, the project provides, under a “wavy” cover, a space used as a canteen and a gym, which supplied not only the school but also the city.
