Il design che si definisce d’avanguardia e di ricerca trova un punto di riferimento negli editori, nelle gallerie specializzate e in poche aziende. La discussione è sempre accesa sull’effettiva “utilità” di questi manufatti, se esiste o comunque se è opportuno un riferimento all’arte, e/o sul “valore artistico” di questo design.
Il nostro spazio prefigura un ambiente abitato dagli oggetti di design impegnato, di frontiera. Un luogo di mistero, per osservare, magari ricredersi e appassionarsi a un mondo la cui “colpa” principale è quella di non accettare le “convenzioni”. Questa è la nostra speranza, e anch’essa era rinchiusa, fra tutti i mali, nello “scrigno di Pandora”.
The so called avant-garde and research’s design finds a point of reference just in ‘publishers, specialized galleries and in a few companies. The discussion is always on the “utility” of these artifacts, if there is, or if it is still appropriate, a reference to the art, and/or on the “artistic value” of this design.
Our space prefigures an environment inhabited by objects of ‘involved’ and border design. A place of mystery, to observe, perhaps change his mind and maybe get passionate in a world whose main “fault” is not to accept the “conventions”. This is our hope, and it too was locked up, among all the evils, in the “Pandora’s box”.
