The project concerns the arrangement of the garden of Toulouse Square, located in the ‘old’ Jaffa, on a triangular shaped site with a steep towards the sea, and a free public parking proceeds under the raised part.
The garden is on a triangular lot whose surface is tilted to the main access. It’s inscribed within a circular enclosure where there are two playgrounds. In the remainder of the lot, the green fits respecting a geometric mesh. On the sides, we find a “wall”, with public services and a number of small, precious gardens that mark the path that leads to the garden floor.
The volume under the raised part was intended for a city parking for about 280 cars.
The “roof” of the structure is reinforced concrete, reported to lawn, with the centre used as sports fields, which are part of a contiguous and extend socio-cultural centre.
The ‘belvedere’ opens the view to the sea that is hidden behind the urban landscape. The opposite side of the garden will offer a space reserved for children’s play area.
